We design software API First. Before we write a single line of code, we design the APIs of a service in a way that any other team, whether internal to epilot or external, can use the APIs interface with our service without prior knowledge.

What awaits you

• 
  You will integrate into an agile environment, being an ambassador to drive quality within the team.
• You will be in charge of all testing activities, including exploratory, usability, performance, acceptance, integration, and security testing depending on the needs of the team.
• You will be expected to automate tests and processes whenever appropriate in order to remove boring, repetitive tasks and help the team frequently deliver value to our customers & their end-customers.
• You’ll get familiar with our tech stack with microfrontends, serverless AWS and best-in-class developer tooling & automation. More info about our stack: Tech stack
• You are part of an agile cross-functional team of full-stack, backend and frontend developers, as well as designers and product managers who are growing together and helping one another
• You will participate in exciting and diverse development projects using agile methods and the chance to pair and collaborate

What you bring

• 
  Expert level knowledge in at least one technical area of testing (Automation / Load & Performance / Security)
• Expert level knowledge of physical testing
• Experience with Javascript
• Excellent knowledge of testing concepts, architecture and practices
• Experience with commonly used testing tools (e.g. Selenium / Datadog Synthetic Tests / Postman / Percy)
• You think like an entrepreneur - you understand our business goals and how your daily decisions influence them.
• You don't see problems as a problem, but as a great opportunity for you personally, your team and epilot.
• You are a doer and have a strong Do-It mentality.
• You make quick, smart decisions and weigh the risk intelligently.
• You are a TEAM player, motivating and inspiring your colleagues.
• Nice to have:
  • Successfully applied some Agile/XP/Scrum practices and are enthusiastic about Agile techniques (TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment)
  • Knowledge of Usability testing
  • Experience working closely with Product Teams and aiding user story creation
  • Experience mentoring junior testers and helping to affect institutional change
  • Experience with AWS
